Column Lift & Dump – this design lifts a drum vertically, and rotates the drum. Both actions may be hydraulic, or electro-mechanical. Lift height can be as great as 15 ft.
Skip Hoist & Dump – similar to a Column Lift, also vertical, but much higher speed. Dumping is either by tilt (pivot) or frame rotation.
Tub Dumper – this design is the simplest, where a box or container is placed in the "tub", which is then raised and pivoted to dump. Lift height is generally less than 15 ft.
